Today we went to our first Habitat For Humanity build site in NH.
We were in charge of a lot of landscaping (spreading huge piles of dirt) and building a shed.
Although we didn't finish the shed in the one day that we were there we did make quite a dent in the project.
We got to meet the families who live in a couple of the habitat houses in the area which was really great, they were very nice. Habitat in this area only works on Saturdays when the local contractor can donate his time. I learned that it takes about 1 year to build a habitat house in this area for that reason.
